Reed + Rader: Dinosaurs in London

I’m a pretty lucky lady to know some of the most talented creatives EVER, but when you mix that potion with some of the best friendships ever, it’s a whole other level of gratefulness. (I’m such a teary auntie sometimes- hankie please!)

So, one of these superpower artist/pal amalgamations I speak of is my darling Pamela Reed of Reed + Rader. I actually met her through this virtual land of electrical signals we mortals call the internet, and I’ve honestly never shared such a deep bond with a girl over common interests and personal taste before; it’s like we are cut from the same cloth, and it’s so cool to have a kindred spirit like that (who happens to also be an incredibly wonderful human being)!

Pamela + her hubby Matthew’s first solo exhibit entitled “Cretaceous Returns” just went up in London at 18 Hewlett Street. The show illustrates the prehistoric period through various mixed media, and it was cool to see their 3D physical assemblage alongside their digital art. To top it all off, the exhibit includes a scrolling video of brightly colored dinosaurs dancing to dubstep jams.

I wish I could’ve made it in person, but I am so amazed at the evolution of their creations and can’t wait to see what the future holds for them! Here are some pics from the show:
