Had a great birthday celebration in Florida: swimming in the sunshine, mixed drink experimentation, good friends, Laspada’s Hoagies, the Dottie Angel book, Vinyasa Hatha Flow Yoga, home-cooked dinner with my family and lots of cookie cake! Planning and sorting out my goals to make this year count (profoundly)
Sadly, the great fashion icon Anna Piaggi passed away on my birthday: A friend of mine said it’s “A tie that binds… kindred spirits… an honor, really.” Photographer Bill Cunningham referred to her as “a fine poet in clothes”. Her unique persona will be missed but her memory is invincible.
