the cools jamboree

Last night my talented friend Stefania Pia put together the wildest event I have gone to in New York City in… longer than I can remember… on behalf of The Cools. There was 15,000 square feet of fashion, design, art, music, dancing, and food designed to capture the spirit of old world bazaars. There was live skateboarding, a room of Jamaican dancing, a screening by Adam Green of his all iPhone film “The Wrong Ferarri” (starring Macauly Culkin amongst others), frighteningly gorgeous people everywhere you turned your head and a huge outdoor party complete with a full, professional stage. After a couple of hours, the cops shut the whole thing down because it was so outrageous! Definitely the kind of affair New York City needs to see more of.
