makeSHIFT is an exhibition that brings together three artists from throughout the country to explore natural and synthetic materials and audience interaction {hosted by the Patti and Rusty Rueff Galleries in Pao Hall at Purdue University}.
As an art therapist and artist, Melissa Diaz invites the viewer to create within a shared space within her professional and personal installation artworks. Diaz aims to explore transitional space in both installation, art/viewer participation, and art therapeutic space. She is not only one of the most visually inspiring artists to me, but also a dear friend and an enthusiastic presence with vibrant energy beaming from her hands and into her crafts.
